Does Lutron Caseta need Wi-Fi to communicate?
No. Lutron Caséta products do not utilize your wifi or the internet to communicate within your home. All Caséta devices communicate via Lutron's Clear Connect wireless protocol. How can I extend my Lutron Caseta range?

How many accounts can the Smart Bridge support?
The Smart Bridge supports one account via a single username (email address) and password. You can access the system from as many mobile devices as you wish. All users must access the system using the same username (email address) and password.

If my Pico paddle remote is added to a Caséta smart lighting control system with a smart hub and the smart hub loses power, will my Pico paddle remote still work?
A smart hub is not required for the Pico paddle remote to work; however, you can add it to a Caséta smart hub. Once a Pico paddle remote has been added to a Caséta system, the Pico paddle remote does not require internet, but it does require power to the smart hub.

Is there a difference between a Lutron smart hub and a Lutron smart bridge?
There is no difference in product or performance between a Lutron smart hub and Lutron smart bridge. The Lutron smart bridge will be referred to a smart hub moving forward. The Lutron smart hub will continue to work with your existing and future Caséta products.

What is the range of Lutron Caseta products?

Will my Caséta Wireless system operate if the Smart Bridge is not connected to the Internet?
Yes, all system devices will continue to operate as normal (i.e. Pico® remotes will still control lights and shades). The Lutron App on your smartphone will not work as it requires the Smart Bridge to be connected to the Internet, however, scheduled events will still continue to run if the Smart Bridge is powered up but temporarily disconnected from the Internet.
