Setting Shade Limits on Lutron Roller Shades Using a Pico Remote
A Pico remote must be paired with the shade before setting the shade's limits. Refer to the Pairing a Pico Wireless Control to Lutron Roller Shades article if you need help pairing a Pico to your shade.
If you pair your shades to a Pico Wireless Control and would like to later add them onto a Lutron system, any pre-existing assignment must be removed by restoring the shade to factory default settings.

Note: To set shade limits using a Pico remote, the shade must first be placed into service position. Refer to the article Putting your Shade into Service Position and Close Quarters Installations for assistance.
Setting The Upper Shade Limit
Step 1: Tap the shade button on the shade drive. The shade button will illuminate solid green.
Step 2: Press and hold the Pico remote's Open and Raise buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the shade button flashes green and remains lit.
Step 3: Use the Raise and Lower buttons to position the shade to the desired limit.
Note: To ensure you set your shade limits to the accurate position, take your shade out of service position by sliding the left shade bracket back into the left mounting bracket.
Step 4: With the shade at the desired open position, press and hold the Open button for about 10 seconds until the shade button flashes green and turns off.
The upper shade limit is now set.
Setting The Lower Shade Limit
Step 1: Tap the shade button on the shade drive. The shade button will illuminate solid green.
Step 2: Press and hold the Pico remote's Open and Raise buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the shade button flashes green and remains lit.
Step 3: Use the Raise and Lower buttons to position the shade to the desired limit.
Note: To ensure you set your shade limits to the accurate position, take your shade out of service position by sliding the left shade bracket back into the left mounting bracket.
Step 4: With the shade at the desired closed position, press and hold the Close button for about 10 seconds until the shade button flashes green and turns off.
The lower shade limit is now set.
