Absolutely. To do that you will need a Caséta Wireless dimmer for any outlet where you are plugging in lights. You then can either control them with individual Picos or if you have a Smart Bridge you can control them together. That means you can also set scenes so that at a touch of a button (or a spoken word to Alexa) you can control multiple strings of light at once, at different levels of brightness.

No. Lutron Caséta products do not utilize your wifi or the internet to communicate within your home. All Caséta devices communicate via Lutron's Clear Connect wireless protocol. This allows you to operate your lights from within your home even if the internet or wifi are not working. You can extend the range of your Caseta Bridge by adding either a Repeater (PD-REP-WH) of a Plug in Lamp Dimmer (PD-3PCL-WH) to your system. To learn which is the best option for you, please see this KNOWLEDGE ARTICLE.

Simply press the “off” button on the dimmer and hold it for 6 seconds (the LED on the Pico will flash). Then repeat this with the Pico you wish to pair. When the Pico is successfully paired, the light bulb flashes three times.
