How to Set Shade Limits on Roller Shades Using the Lutron App
Setting Limits on Lutron Roller Shades Using the Lutron App
Before setting shade limits, the shade must be added to the Lutron app. Please review the Adding a Device to the Lutron App article if you need help adding devices to your system.
If your shades were previously paired to a Pico Wireless Control, they must be restored to factory default settings before adding them into a system. Review the Restore Lutron Shades to Factory Default Settings article for help resetting your shades.
Setting Shade Limits
Step 1: Tap the shade you wish to set the limits for from the Devices screen in the Lutron App.
Step 2: Tap Edit Device.
Step 3: Tap Set Shade Limits from the Edit Device screen.
Step 4: Select Open Limit from the Set Shade Limits screen. Use the arrows on the screen to set the Open Limit or 100% position on your shade(s).
Tap Save once the desired Open Limit is set.
Step 5: Select Close Limit from the Set Shade Limits screen. Use the arrows to set the Closed Limit or 0% position on your shade(s).
Tap Save once the desired Close Limit is set.
Repeat the above steps for the remaining shades on your system.
