Section (1): Device Compatibility

Only compatible in 3-way and 4-way applications with either the DVRF-6L or DVRF-5NS devices.
Not compatible with Original Smart Devices: PD-6WCL, PD-5NE, PD-10NXD, PD-6ANS, PD-5ANS, or PD-5WS-DV
Not compatible as a standalone switch. The Claro Smart Accessory Switch must be installed with the DVRF-6L or DVRF-5NS.

Section (2): Product Installation

NOTES ON INSTALLATION
  • No neutral wire required.
  • For 3-way or multi-location wiring, use only one Diva smart dimmer (DVRF-6L) or Claro smart
    switch (DVRF-5NS) with up to 10 accessory switches.
  • Maximum wire length between the main control and the farthest accessory switch is 150 ft (45 m).
  • If there is no ground wire in your electrical box, cap off the green wire from the accessory switch. A ground wire connection is not required for this accessory switch to function properly. A ground wire may be required by local electrical code

Claro Accessory Switch does not count towards 75 device limit when used with Caseta Smart Hub

Does not have an LED indicator light

Section (4): Troubleshooting
 
SymptomsProbable Cause
The load does not turn ON or no LEDs on the
dimmer or switch turn ON.
• Front Accessible Service Switch (FASS) on the main
dimmer or switch is pulled out to the OFF position.
• Light bulb(s) burned out.
• Breaker is OFF or tripped.
• Wiring error. Refer to the wiring diagrams above or go to
www.lutron.com/wiringwizard
The load turns ON and the main dimmer or
switch works, but accessory switch does not
work.
• Wire connected to the blue wire on the main dimmer or
main switch is not the same wire connected to the blue
wire of the accessory switch.
The load does not remain ON and main
dimmer or switch LEDs glow dimly or blink.
• Blue wire is miswired to neutral wire or touching ground.
