Adjusting the Low-End or High-End Trim
Trim settings can be used to set maximum (high-end) and minimum (low-end) available light levels from your dimmers. High-end trim settings can be used to save energy. Low-end Trim settings can be used to adjust your lights for the best performance. Please see steps to do so below.
NOTE: The DVRF-6L dimmer is the only dimmer that the Lutron App can be used to adjust the trim in the Caseta System.
Step 1
Tap on the Diva Smart Dimmer from the Devices area in the Lutron App. Then select "Edit Device".
Step 2
Tap on "Trim".
Step 3
Adjust Trim levels you wish to change. Then select "Test & Save". Repeat as needed.
Status LED Indicator Light
Has a white soft glow status LED to indicate load status. As you move the slider up or down to set the dimming range the LED status light will move with the slider. If the lights are adjusted from a Pico remote, Lutron App, or third party voice integration, the LED status will follow that of where the command was sent from, meaning there could be times where the LED indicator status light does not match the slider. If the dimmer is then turned off and then turned on manually from the dimmer it will turn on to the level where the slider is physically set. When the slider is moved the LED status will immediately move with the slider. For example: Slider on dimmer is set to 50% and then a Pico remote is pressed to turn on to 100%. The LED light will track to the top of the dimmer. If you were to then move the slider manually at the dimmer the LED status light would follow the position of the slider as well as the lights the dimmer is controlling.
Note:
The LED Indicator light can only be disabled/enabled with the use of the Lutron App. Please see the steps to do so below.
Step 1
Tap on the Diva Smart Dimmer from the Devices area in the Lutron App. Then select "Edit Device".
Step 2
Tap on the "Status LED".
Step 3
Select "On" or "Off" (default is On) and then tap on "Save" in the top right corner of the screen.
