Selling your house with your Caseta Wireless System
Congratulations on selling your home! This article details the instructions for transferring ownership of your Lutron Caseta Wireless System to a new homeowner. We hope that you have enjoyed your Caseta system and that you will consider installing one in your new home.

1. Remove 3rd party integrations from the Lutron app

Your system is now ready for the new homeowner! You can disconnect the hub from your Wi-Fi router at this time. Please leave the power supply and ethernet cable for the new homeowner.

Re-configuring the system for the new owner takes just three easy steps:
2. Remove your Lutron account from the system
3. Reset the Caseta Smart Hub network settings
- Tap on the Settings icon in the top left-hand corner of the Lutron app
- Select Integrations from the list
- Tap on the integration to remove
- Select Unlink Account or Remove your Hub/Main Repeater/Processor
The integration has now been removed. Repeat this process for any additional 3rd party integrations.
- Tap on the Settings icon in the top left-hand corner of the Lutron app
- Select Edit Home from the list
- Change the name of the home to the street address
- Tap Remove System from Account
- Confirm the system removal if prompted in the app
You have now removed your email address from the system and most third party integrations. This will also allow the new homeowner to set-up their account and link their email address to the Smart Hub.
3. Re-set the Smart Hub network settings
Resetting the Smart Hub's network settings will not delete any previously paired devices or programmed scenes or schedules from the Lutron app. Follow the steps below to complete a network reset on your Caseta hub.

- Locate the Caseta smart hub in your home. It will usually be near a router or network switch as it must be plugged into a LAN port with an ethernet cable.
- Press and hold the small black button on the back of the Smart Hub for 20 seconds.
- Release the button once the light ring begins to blink. Do not wait for it to stop blinking as this process is time sensitive.
- The light ring will return to solid within a few seconds.
Your system is now ready for the new homeowner! You can disconnect the hub from your Wi-Fi router at this time. Please leave the power supply and ethernet cable for the new homeowner.
