How to Set Limits on Your Palladiom Wire-Free Shades

A standalone application means that your Shades are not already paired to a Lutron Smart Home System, such as Caseta Wireless, RadioRa, or Homeworks

Please note: To set limits the Wireless Control must be assigned to the shade, click here to view the instructions on how to program a control to a Palladiom Wire-Free shade.

Step (1): Confirm that you have a Lutron Palladiom Wire-Free shade by the button style.
Palladiom Wire Free Shades - The roller shade features a single LED-equipped control button (the ‘Shade Button’), located on the Electronic Drive Unit on the left- or right-hand side of the headrail. These shades are exclusively battery powered.

Step (2): Verify standalone operation

The Shade Button is used to activate and indicate various steps while assigning and programming the shade for compatible handheld or system-based remote control.

  1. Press the Shade Button on your Palladiom Wire-Free shades and observe for a solid green indicator light.

  1. If the green indicator light remains illuminated, this indicates the limits of the shade are ready to be set, follow step 3.1 to assign a Pico remote control, or step 3.2 to assign a Lutron 4-Group remote control.

  1. If the green indicator light turns off within one second, this means your Palladiom Wire-Free shade is connected to a Lutron smart home system. In this case, you must pair your remote to your Palladiom Wire-Free shade through your Lutron system.

    a. If a Caséta Smart Bridge or a RA2 Select system is installed, use the Lutron App to program and control the shade.

    b. If a RadioRA 3 or HomeWorks system is installed, use the Lutron Designer software to program your shade. Please visit www.lutron.com/wheretobuy to find a local trained and certified Lutron Dealer.

  1. Hold the Close button on the Pico for about 10 seconds until the shade button blinks and turns off.

B. Upper Limit:

  1. Follow Steps 1- 2 of the Lower Limit steps.
