Please note: You must have a Wireless Control assigned to it with a Raise and Lower button such as a Pico Remote or 4-Group Shade Remote.
To set limits the Wireless Control must be assigned to the shade, please see our Programming a Palladiom Wire-Free Shade to a Remote article.
Confirm that you have a Lutron Palladiom Wire-Free shade by the button style.
The roller shade features a single LED-equipped control button (the ‘Shade Button’), located on the Electronic Drive Unit (EDU or Drive) on the left- or right-hand side of the headrail. These shades are exclusively battery powered.
Verify standalone operation
The Shade Button is used to activate and indicate various steps while assigning and programming the shade for compatible handheld or system-based remote control.
-
Press the Shade Button on your Palladiom Wire-Free shades and observe for a solid green indicator light.
-
If the green indicator light remains illuminated, this indicates the limits of the shade are ready to be set. Click here if you are using a Pico remote control or Click here if using a Lutron 4-Group remote control.
-
If the green indicator light turns off within one second, this means your Palladiom Wire-Free shade is connected to a Lutron smart home system. In this case, you must pair your Wireless Control to your Palladiom Wire-Free shade through your Lutron system.
a. If a Caséta Smart Bridge or a RA2 Select system is installed, use the Lutron App to program and control the shade.
b. If a RadioRA 3 or HomeWorks system is installed, use the Lutron Designer software to program your shade. Please visit our Where to Buy to find a local trained and certified Lutron Dealer.
