How do I find my Model Number?
Do you have the original packaging?
-
If your product came in plastic packaging (a clamshell), you’ll find the model number on the front of the insert card, on the lower left corner. If your product came in a box, you’ll find the model number on the top of the box.
Most model numbers are 12-16 characters and start with a couple letters followed by a dash.
No packaging? No problem!
-
The product number is on a label on the side of the dimmer or switch.*
If you’ve already installed the dimmer/switch, turn off the electricity and then remove the wallplate. Unscrew and remove the wallplate adapter, then unscrew the dimmer/switch and pull it out of the wall until you can see the label.
*Please note: The product number for Ariadni/Toggler dimmers is not on a label. It’s located directly on the front of the dimmer on the top left, or right below the on/off toggle.

What is Lutron doing to ensure the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities do not affect your system?
As part of Lutron’s Secure Lifecycle process, which includes continuous monitoring of security threats, we have analyzed the information currently available for the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. Meltdown and Spectre are vulnerabilities that affect microprocessors manufactured by Intel, AMD, ARM and POWER which may allow malware to read data from devices which contain these processors. Lutron’s micro-processor based lighting control products, (such as dimmers, LED drivers, occupancy sensors, keypads, as well as processors and lighting hubs, which includes Quantum, Vive, Homeworks, Caseta, RadioRa 2 and RA2 Select) are not vulnerable to Meltdown or Spectre. PCs, servers, tablets and mobile devices that are used to manage these systems need to be evaluated for this vulnerability.
Lutron tests our software applications with all relevant operating system patches once they are made available by the operating system manufacturers. Lutron software applications and apps—such as Quantum Vue, Designer, Q-Control+ and Lutron Connect—are continually evaluated to determine if there are any issues that arise after the operating system patches have been installed. As of January 18, 2018, not all operating systems have had patches released for this vulnerability and as patches become available, Lutron will test and release new revisions of the applications if they are needed.
Lutron strongly recommends that our customers keep their PCs, servers, tablets and mobile devices secure and up-to-date by applying all recommended operating system and software patches released by the operating system manufacturers, as well as installing a reputable antivirus software program on all applicable devices. If you have any additional questions about your Lutron products, please contact us at support@lutron.com.
