Identifying Your Lutron Roller Shade and Brackets

Depending on your roller shade(s) configuration, you will receive either Type A brackets or Type B brackets. 

 

 

Type A Identifying Features (5 D-Cell Battery Tray)


Type A brackets are provided for wider or taller shades. These brackets are slightly larger and have a socket for the right side bracket.

 

 

Shade: Fully closed ends with protruding idler axle 

 

 

 

Brackets: Metal Rails on Left bracket assembly, U-shaped socket on Right bracket assembly.

 

 

Type B Identifying Features (4 D-Cell Battery Tray)


Type B brackets are provided for smaller shades, and are slightly smaller with a post on the right side bracket.

 

Note: Caseta Smart Roller Shades with B brackets will ship with drive and hembar assembled to shade.

 

 

Shade: Fabric roll with single open end

 

 

 

 

Brackets: Plastic features inside Left bracket assembly, single-piece shade idler on Right bracket assembly axle.
