How do I find my Model Number?
Do you have the original packaging?

If your product came in plastic packaging (a clamshell), you’ll find the model number on the front of the insert card, on the lower left corner. If your product came in a box, you’ll find the model number on the top of the box.
Most model numbers are 12-16 characters and start with a couple letters followed by a dash.
No packaging? No problem!

The product number is on a label on the side of the dimmer or switch.*
If you’ve already installed the dimmer/switch, turn off the electricity and then remove the wallplate. Unscrew and remove the wallplate adapter, then unscrew the dimmer/switch and pull it out of the wall until you can see the label.
*Please note: The product number for Ariadni/Toggler dimmers is not on a label. It’s located directly on the front of the dimmer on the top left, or right below the on/off toggle.

Can I use any dimmable LED+ or LED with a Lutron LED+ dimmer?
We can only recommend dimmable CFL and LED bulbs that we have tested (per UL) and deemed compatible with our dimmers. Please use our LED Compatibility Tool to ensure you're using a bulb that is approved for this dimmer. If the bulb you are using does not appear on the approved list, please contact the LED manufacturer for a dimmer recommendation.

Can I use this with CFL or LED light bulbs?
Yes, Lutron switches will work with both CFL and LED light bulbs.

Will this dimmer work with dimmable LEDs?
This control is compatible with many dimmable LEDs, however we can only recommend dimmable LED bulbs that we have tested and deemed compatible. In order to be sure the LED product will dim to your standards, please check our LED Selection Tool to see if Lutron has done testing and can stand behind the dimming performance. If the bulb you are using does not appear on the approved list, please contact the LED manufacturer who may have done testing and can make a dimmer recommendation.

Do RA2 Select dimmers work with dimmable LED bulbs?
Yes, RA2 Select dimmers work with dimmable LEDs, as well as incandescent and halogen bulbs. Lutron tests light bulbs for compatibility with our dimmers and maintains a list of compatible bulbs on our LED Finder Tool.
