Maestro Dual Dimmer-Timer and Dual Dimmer-Switch Blink Codes

The Maestro Dual LED+ Control's indicator lights may blink to indicate an issue with the application. This is known as a blink code.

 

Review the Blink Codes section in this article for troubleshooting steps to perform when the Maestro Dual LED+ Control's indicator lights are blinking. 

 

 

 

Before You Begin


View the diagram below to better determine which LED Indicator Lights (IL) are blinking on your Maestro Dual LED+ Control:

 

 

 

 

Blink Codes


IL 7 and IL 3 Blinking Alternately

 

Ensure you are using a compatible load. Review the Maestro Dual LED+ Specification Sheet for compatible load types. 

 

If controlling LED lights with the dimmer portion of the Maestro Dual LED+ control, use only dimmable LEDs. Non-dimmable LEDs do not work with a dimmer. Use Lutron's LED Finder Tool to generate a list of compatible dimmable LEDs. 

 

 

IL 7 and IL 5 Blinking Alternately

 

Ensure you are using a compatible load. Review the Maestro Dual LED+ Specification Sheet for compatible load types. 

 

If controlling LED lights with the dimmer portion of the Maestro Dual LED+ control, use only dimmable LEDs. Non-dimmable LEDs do not work with a dimmer. Use Lutron's LED Finder Tool to generate a list of compatible dimmable LEDs. 

 

 

IL 7 and IL 1 Blinking Alternately

 

Pull the FASS (Front Accessible Service Switch) out, then push it back in.

 

If the blink code continues, verify the load does not exceed the maximum ratings of the Maestro Dual LED+ Control. Review the Maestro Dual LED+ Specification Sheet for compatible load types and ratings.

 

 

ILs 3, 2, and 1 Blinking in Unison

 

Pull the FASS (Front Accessible Service Switch) out, then push it back in.

 

If the blink code continues, verify the load does not exceed the maximum ratings of the Maestro Dual LED+ Control. Review the Maestro Dual LED+ Specification Sheet for compatible load types and ratings.

 

 

IL 7 and IL 2 Blinking Alternately
