Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I know if I have an LED+ dual Maestro or an incandescent/halogen only version?

A: The LED+ dual Maestros have an LED rating stamped into the corner of the metal plate at the bottom of the dimmer. Previous versions will not display an LED load rating as they were not designed or rated for use with LED lights.

Q: My old Maestro countdown timer used to flash a one-minute warning. Does this dual LED+ dimmer/timer have the same feature?

A: Yes. However, this feature is disabled by default. Review the Maestro LED+ Dimmer/Switch and Dimmer/Timer Advanced Programming Mode guide linked below in the Related Articles section to enable this feature.
