Before installing your dual Maestro countdown timer, have the following items available:

Note: The Maestro LED+ dual dimmer/switch and dimmer/countdown timer are single-pole devices. They cannot be installed in a 3-way or 4-way. 


Frequently Asked Questions:

 

Do the Maestro LED+ dual controls require a neutral connection?

No. The Maestro LED+ dual controls do not connect to neutral. 

 

Do the Maestro LED+ dual controls have a minimum load requirement?

The minimum load of the dimmer is 25W of incandescent/halogen lighting load or a minimum of one compatible LED bulb from the Lutron LED Finder Tool. There is no minimum load requirement on the switch/timer. 

 

Are the Maestro LED+ dual controls compatible with DC-motor exhaust fans?

Yes. The switch/timer portion of the dual control is rated to control high-efficiency DC-motor exhaust fans. 

 

Can they be installed to control a receptacle?

No. The Maestro LED+ dual controls are rated for permanently installed fan and lighting loads only.
