Single Sign-On (SSO) Overview
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to sign in to Lutron software with their company credentials.
How is Single Sign-On Enabled?
SSO is a paid feature enabled on a company-wide basis. Once it is set up, all users with email domains associated with that company will log in via SSO. For more details on SSO and Lutron, see the Athena O&M Manual, the myRoomXC O&M Manual, and the Commercial IT Guide.
SSO and Sharing
SSO does not affect sharing or who can access a place, nor does it automatically share places with any user.
Multi- or 2-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) and Unique Password Policies
These policies are set in the company’s identity provider, not by Lutron. Lutron SSO will interface with any authentication policies used by the company’s identity provider, including MFA/2FA and unique password policies.
