Lutron App

1. Sign in to the Lutron app as a Professional using your myLutron account.

2. Select RadioRA 3 / HomeWorks / Athena.

3. Select the Place name in the Place list.

4. Go to Settings > Activate Devices.

5. Select the room where the device you want to deactivate is. Once a room is selected, the following occurs:

• Devices with a button will begin to slowly flash. Device indicator lights on devices with buttons will begin to flash in one of two ways:
  • Not activated: Slow flash (3 seconds on, 1 second off)
  • Activated: Quick flash (1 second on, 1 second off). Note: this feedback only occurs if the device has been activated for less than 15 minutes. 
• Devices without buttons (e.g. Lumaris Tunable White controllers) will not react right away.

6. Select the device you want to deactivate. Only activated devices, identified by a green checkmark, can be deactivated.

7. If you activated the device more than 15 minutes ago, you can just press the deactivate button. If you activated the device less than 15 minutes ago, connect to it before pressing the deactivate button.

To connect to a device with a button, long press any button until the device starts to flash quickly. The app should show the blink pattern of the device on the deactivation pop-up.

To connect to a device without any buttons, walk closer to the device until it starts to blink. The app should show the same blink pattern of the device on the deactivation pop-up.

When the device is successfully deactivated, the green checkmark will disappear from the device. The device should blink to full-on, then off, reboot, and then blink on and off again. 

Troubleshooting

If you have trouble connecting to a device, you can still press deactivate. The device must be factory reset before activating it again.
