Cycle Dim Programming

This article will go over how to enable Cycle Dim on a keypad button, and a clear explanation on how it will function.

What is Cycle Dim and How Does it Work?

Cycle Dim is a Press-and-Hold function that allows you to dim the lights affected by a scene. The breakdown of its function is below:

  1. The initial press triggers the programmed ‘Press’ scene
  2. If the button is held while Cycle Dim is enabled, the lights will begin to raise or lower depending on your Project Settings
  3. Upon releasing the button, you may press and hold the button again within 5 seconds to begin raising or lowering the lights in the opposite direction.

As a note, the default settings within your Project Settings will allow Cycle Dim to lower initially and allow it to lower from 1% to Off as well as raise from the Off level to 1%.
