Before You Begin

Ensure the Caseta Hub is connected to the router and accessible through the Lutron app. Review the article “Smart Hub (formerly known as Smart Bridge) Set-up & Troubleshooting” for assistance in setting up the Caseta Hub.

Setup

  1. Download the SmartThings app and sign in to your Samsung account.

  1. Select “+” > Add device > Add Partner devices.

  1. Locate Lutron under the Partner devices list and sign into your Lutron account

  1. Authorize the integration and confirm the devices and rooms.

 What do I need to use SmartThings with Caséta?

  • A Caséta system with any Caséta Smart Hub
  • A SmartThings account (SmartThings Hub optional)

Can I use shades with SmartThings?

  • Yes!

Can I activate scenes with SmartThings?

  • Scenes from Caséta and RA2 Select cannot be imported into SmartThings.

Can I use Picos to control my SmartThings?

  • Not at this time.

How do I add my devices to routines and SmartApps within SmartThings?

  • Select Routines at the bottom of the screen. Tap the "+" button to create a new Routine and follow the onscreen steps.

How do I remove devices from SmartThings?

  • In the SmartThings app, select Devices at the bottom of the screen. Tap on the device that you wish to remove. Select the three dots in the upper right > Remove device.
