The Caséta Smart Hub controls Lutron’s Caséta Wireless family of products. If you are unsure if you are using Caséta devices, please visit the Caséta Products page to confirm the devices currently installed in your home match what is listed on the product page.

What is the Caséta Smart Hub?

The Caséta Smart Hub is the control center for your Caséta smart home devices. It uses Lutron’s Clear Connect wireless technology to communicate with your Caséta switches, dimmers, fan controls, Pico remotes, and sensors.

The smart hub connects to an available LAN port on your router using the included ethernet cable. It does not communicate over Wi-Fi, so the system still works locally even if your internet is down.

What features does the Caséta Smart Hub support?

The Smart Hub gives you the ability to control your Caséta devices (up to 75 per hub) wirelessly via the Lutron app whether you are connected to your home’s Wi-Fi network or away.

With the Caséta Smart Hub, the Lutron app also allows you to easily control your devices with scenes, schedules, and third-party assistants (like Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit) to automatically control your lights.

Automatically turn devices on/off based on your smartphone’s location with Arriving and Leaving Home geofenced scenes or Smart Away.

Add the Lutron app widget to your smartphone’s home screen to quickly activate a scene.
