  2. PoE Injector Blink Codes
  3. Troubleshooting

Processor Blink Codes

  1. Green Blink Every 10 Seconds
  2. Blue Blink
  3. Solid Red
  4. Rapid Green Blink

Green Blink Every 10 Seconds

-Normal operating state for the processor

Normal Processor Blink

Blue Blink

-The processor is performing a software update. Please wait up to 10 minutes and check the Processor again.

Processor Updating Blink

Solid Red

-There is an error with the processor, contact Lutron Technical Support

Processor Error Code

Rapid Green Blink

- This blink code means the processor is communicating with the software while the software is in "Activation" mode. Your processor is ready to activate.

Software Identification Blink

PoE Injector Blink Codes

  1. Green Blink
  2. Yellow and Green Blink
  3. Solid Green
  4. Yellow Blink

Green Blink

- The unit is on with no load connected to it. Please connect the Processor to the adapter.

No Connected Load Blink

Yellow and Green Blink

- The unit has detected an invalid load. This can often be a result of the ethernet wires in the ethernet ports being swapped; swap these cables and power cycle the processor and adapter.

Invalid Load Blink

Solid Green

- The unit has detected a valid Power-Over-Ethernet or IEEE 802.3af load.

Valid Load Blink

Yellow Blink

- The unit is overloaded / in a shorted condition. This can often be a result of the ethernet wires in the ethernet ports being swapped; swap these cables and power cycle the processor and adapter.

Overload Blink

Troubleshooting

  1. The unit does not power on
  2. The unit cannot be found in the software
  3. The processor does not control the surrounding lights

The processor does not power on

  • Check if a PoE switch is being used and if it is configured properly. If not, use the provided Lutron PoE Injector.
  • Verify that both ends of the ethernet cable are securely attached to the correct ports on the PoE injector.
  • Check that the IN/OUT connections on the PoE Injector are correct

The processor cannot be found in the software

  • Make sure the ethernet cable is connected to the same LAN network as the setup software
  • The ethernet run is longer than the supported 328ft (100m) add a PoE extender to support the ethernet run
  • Check that the IN/OUT connections on the PoE Injector are correct

The processor does not control the surrounding lights

  • Controls/Lights are out of range of the wireless processor
  • Processor lost power/ethernet wire run is too long and a PoE extender is required
