CCX Processors and PoE Injector Blink Codes
Below you will find descriptions and animated GIFs of the various blink codes you may encounter with a CCX Processor and PoE Injector.
Knowledge Article Contents:
-Normal operating state for the processor
-The processor is performing a software update. Please wait up to 10 minutes and check the Processor again.
-There is an error with the processor, contact Lutron Technical Support
- This blink code means the processor is communicating with the software while the software is in "Activation" mode. Your processor is ready to activate.
- The unit is on with no load connected to it. Please connect the Processor to the adapter.
- The unit has detected an invalid load. This can often be a result of the ethernet wires in the ethernet ports being swapped; swap these cables and power cycle the processor and adapter.
- The unit has detected a valid Power-Over-Ethernet or IEEE 802.3af load.
- The unit is overloaded / in a shorted condition. This can often be a result of the ethernet wires in the ethernet ports being swapped; swap these cables and power cycle the processor and adapter.
- The unit does not power on
- The unit cannot be found in the software
- The processor does not control the surrounding lights
The processor does not power on
- Check if a PoE switch is being used and if it is configured properly. If not, use the provided Lutron PoE Injector.
- Verify that both ends of the ethernet cable are securely attached to the correct ports on the PoE injector.
- Check that the IN/OUT connections on the PoE Injector are correct
The processor cannot be found in the software
- Make sure the ethernet cable is connected to the same LAN network as the setup software
- The ethernet run is longer than the supported 328ft (100m) add a PoE extender to support the ethernet run
- Check that the IN/OUT connections on the PoE Injector are correct
The processor does not control the surrounding lights
- Controls/Lights are out of range of the wireless processor
- Processor lost power/ethernet wire run is too long and a PoE extender is required
